Description

This product is a whole house system which should be fitted where the water enters the house. It is standard general purpose filter which use Granular Activated Carbon media. It is effective at reducing chemicals (including herbicides and pesticides) and chlorine to improve water taste and odour.

The system comprises of a blue vessel filled with media, with an inlet and outlet port on the top. As a guide it is usually suitable for a house of 1-5 people, however this is dependent on the water system in place in the property and if it is a direct/indirect feed. Please contact us for advice.

Standard (S) reduction/removal filters are a general purpose filter which use Granular Activated Carbon media. They are effective at reducing/removing chemicals (including herbicides and pesticides) and chlorine to improve water taste and odour.

Activated carbon filters remove/reduce many volatile organic chemicals (VOC), as well as benzene, trihalomethane (THM) compounds, radon, solvents and hundreds of other man-made chemicals found in tap water. They are not designed for and not generally effective at removing metals or sediment.

The filters require regular replacement as will become exhausted after a time, which is dependent on the size/capacity of the filter unit.
