10 Inch Regular Sediment Filters

Description

The 10 inch regular sediment filter is available in 1, 5, 10 & 20 micron ratings and are approximately 2 1/2″ wide.

The sediment cartridges are designed to fit into the standard 10 inch housings to remove sediment or in order to protect sensitive equipment such as Ultraviolet sterilisation systems.

The lifespan of the cartridges vary depending on water quality. If the micron rating is to small then the filter will clog up quickly if there is a lot of sediment.

Fitting multiple sediment filters in a multi pod housing and starting with a higher micron rating then reducing the micron rating on the second filter can help the lifespan of the cartridge.

If your sediment filters keep getting blocked quickly you could fit a 10″ stainless steel washable filter. A larger sediment filter housing such as a Big Blue Filter with a larger cartridge could also be fitted.
